There is a hierarchy of hands in a standard poker game. The lowest hand is called a High. It means that the player was not able to complete any pattern with his current hand. Two cards with the same number are called a Pair. A total of two pairs can be achieved in a single hand. There are also five card hands which are harder to achieve in the game but are very strong hands to match with the opponents.
